The University of Western Ontario continues to provide Canada's best student experience among its peer universities. In a survey of more than 38,000 undergraduate students, the Globe and Mail Canadian University Report has given Western the only 'A' grade among large universities (more than 22,000 students), in the category "most satisfied students." This is the eighth year in a row that Western received top marks for student satisfaction.
Partial results of the 2010 Canadian University Report were published in a supplement distributed with this morning's Globe and Mail. In those published Western ranked first or tied for first in 12 of 19 categories.

"We strive continuously to enhance the quality of learning here at Western," says President Amit Chakma, "and we are committed to do everything we can to continue that mission."
Chakma pointed to the fact that Western has the second highest entering grades in Ontario.
"We are attracting great students to our university and providing them with the best experience at research intensive university is a top priority. I am grateful to all of those on campus who contribute to that experience."
