WOSEN Resilience Program

Programs from the Women of Ontario Social Enterprise Network (WOSEN) that's currently accepting applications.

Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

The WOSEN Collaborative is dedicated to equity and inclusion, and encourages participation of woman-identified and non-binary entrepreneurs from underserved and underrepresented communities - including Indigenous and two-spirit women, trans women, women with disabilities, racialized women and newcomer women, and all other woman-identified people experiencing systemic barriers to success.

Program Details

The program is jointly delivered by the WOSEN Collaborative, which includes the Centre for Social Innovation, NORDIK Institute, Pillar Nonprofit Network, and SVX, with support by Lean4Flourishing. Program themes include: Leading through Uncertainty, Pivoting on Purpose, Leveraging Technology, and Financial management/Access to COVID-19 financial support. The program will accept a total of 10 participants from Southwestern Ontario (40 across Ontario).

The program's design and delivery is guided by the WOSEN Collaborative's shared design principles and aims to be inclusive, accessible, responsive, human-centered, systems-informed, and decolonized. The 16-week program will include: 

  • 3 one-hour coaching sessions with a coach 

  • Facilitated peer-to-peer programs

  • Regular workshops, panel discussions, and webinars

  • Office hours with experts in key areas

Application and Program Timeline

The program runs from May 11-July 17, including a week of up-front onboarding (May 11-15) before official programming begins on May 19. Applicants will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis and 15-minute intake calls will be scheduled as appropriate to confirm fit between the applicant and the program.

There will be some open programming and virtual networking opportunities available for all applicants. In any event, details about how to connect with the community will be provided after the intake call.
